Workshops are designed to assist in the development of employment applications, resumes, cover letters, interviewing skills, appropriate dress, posture and body language supporting interview success.

On-the-Job Training

During On-the-Job Training (OJT), employees are familiarized with the working environment they will become apart of.

During the OJT, employees are familiarized with the working environment they will become apart of. You'll get a hands-on experience using machinery, equipment, tools, materials, etc. Part of on-the-job training is to face the challenges that occur during the performance of the job. Upon satisfaction of completion of the training, the employer may retain participants as regular employees.

Need work experience or want to explore an occupation?  Mother Lode Job Training partners with local employers and businesses to create paid and unpaid work experience and internship opportunities. Mother Lode Job Training staff will work with youth and adults that are interested in gaining work experience or in exploring an occupation.

Mother Lode Job Training can provide eligible participants with academic and vocational financial assistance to support the development of work skills that are in-demand by businesses in the local workforce area. Learn skills in industries such as Truck Driving, Healthcare, Construction and more!
